The panel survey for the fourth wave of the TIGCR-PPS2021 focus group panel survey started on April 16 and successfully ended on September 3. In response to the nationwide level 3 epidemic alert, a mixed-mode survey was adopted for the first time. During the epidemic alert period, four survey methods, including video, telephone, and Internet surveys, were implemented, as well as face-to-face interviews.

For this year’s survey, a total of 2,678 valid samples were obtained, with a 93.57% completion rate of follow-up surveys. A total of 2,104 valid samples were obtained via face-to-face interviews, 417 valid samples via video surveys, 31 samples via telephone surveys, and 126 via Internet surveys.

Four waves of panel surveys have been completed thus far. The fifth wave of the TIGCR-PPS 2022 survey and government bureaucrats (TIGCR-TGBS 2022) will be conducted in early June 2022.
